Course Preview: Image manipulation using Adobe Photoshop to design, digitally paint and to correct photos. / Required: Meets 2/21-5/11. / Note: 2 additional weekly lab hours required.

Learning Outcomes: 1: Understand & have competence with the interface
2: Develop eye for composition & design
3: Create a series of digital pieces for student portfolio
4: Expand knowlege of professional practices
5: Grasp the importance of Photoshop as a hub for other deciplines ie; web design, print and video
Evaluation Procedures: There will be a digital portfolio, a couple main projects, homework from the text and written exams.

Point ranges for each grade:
A = 90-100
B = 80-89
C = 70-79
D = 60-69
F = 0-59
Attendance Policy: Students are expected to attend class and prepare work for each meeting as assigned. Attendance is part of the student attitude. Students must contact instructor when they will miss a class. If you attend class, complete your homework and projects, you will do well in this class. Students who miss classtime must be highly motivated to catch up.
