| Evaluation Procedures: | Lab work is associated with each chapter. It is important for the student to follow the syllabus and get such work turned in when it is due. All assignments must be emailed to the instructor. The lab work is entirely responsible for the student's grade. There are 13 labs and each lab is worth 40 points. This gives a total of 520 points available for assessing the student's grade.

| Attendance Policy: | Students are expected to check the web site for this course regularly and use any study materials provided to assist with coursework. It is the students' responsibility to turn in their work by the due date. Work may be turned in late subject to having points subtracted for tardiness. No work may be turned in after the last class day (July 2, 2009). It is assumed that the student will read each chapter of the textbook before or during the time indicated in the syllabus. ---- Students should feel free to contact the instructor whenever they have specific questions regarding the material covered but (as this is an online course) prior to asking it is expected that the student will read the complete text for the chapter in question, attempt to do the exercises within and after the chapter, and use any study aids provided by the instructor on the website for that chapter (Such as MP3 lecture files).
