Course Title: Biology for Science Majors I

Course Preview: An introductory survey of contemporary biology for students majoring in the sciences. Topics emphasized will include the chemical basis of life, structure and function of cells, energy transformations, and molecular biology and genetics. Students perform significantly better in this course with some prior chemistry knowledge and a solid grasp of the English language. New and difficult terminology must be mastered in this course.
