Course Preview: I believe that understanding art can make one's life permanently richer. This class is first about learning to perceive the elements of art and then adding the best of the world's artworks to our own personal brain bank.
Textbooks and Other Course Materials: 1: Textbook: ARTFORMS, Edition 8 by Patrick Frank. Used older additions from the past few years will work!
Learning Outcomes: 1:
Evaluation Procedures: There are four tests and two projects in this class. The projects vary from semester to semester to keep things interesting and relevant. There is no final exam in this class, but your attendance and participation are relevant. Before each test we review by playing ART BINGO.

Point ranges for each grade:
A = 90-100
B = 80-89
C = 70-79
D = 60-69
F = 0-59
Attendance Policy: I want to know who you are and see you in class. There are group activities, large and small, that require your presence. Plus you can meet more people by being present. Attendance is important and I hope you will enjoy the class enough to come.
